We had a wonderful first PTA meeting of the year in August. Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and staff who were able to join us despite needing to use our rain date. We are so excited to work together to make this a wonderful year at C. W. Henry.
Congratulations to our 8th graders “moving up” to High School in the Fall. We are very proud of all your hard work and accomplishments.
C. W. Henry students participated in the dragonboat regatta on the Schyulkill River.
Howard Goldstein, retired teacher & master gardener hosted pollinator lessons in the garden. Students learned about how a plant is pollinated and the creatures that help. Then the students illustrated an insect and plant found in gardens. Mr. Goldstein taught lessons with our K-2 classes. He also writes gardening articles for the Weaver’s Way Shuttle.

On Wednesday, March 14th, Upper School students from C. W. Henry planned and participated in a walkout against gun violence with the support of the school community. We are very proud of our students for taking a stand on such an important issue.
