SUMMARY:Earth Day Celebration & Plant Sale
DESCRIPTION:Support the C.W. Henry Plant Sale on Saturday\, April 21 from 11am – 3pm.\nAll proceeds from the plant sale benefit lessons in the school garden with Farmer David.\nThis event is being co-hosted by the PTA and Weavers Way Co-op.\nVarious businesses in the Village are collaborating with us to celebrate Earth Day and lots of fun and interesting activities have been planned.\nThere will be workshops about planting a medicinal herb garden and bicycle maintenance\, information about creating a pollinator garden\, native plants\, composting and sustainability and chickens!!\n\nRamble Pizza food truck will be in the staff parking lot and children’s activities\, bake sale and a picnic area are available on the lawn at Summit Presbyterian Church.\nWe hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:New Date: Spring Cleanup Day
DESCRIPTION:The C. W. Henry PTA will host our Spring Cleanup Day in conjunction with the city-wide cleanup day on Saturday\, April 7th (10am-1pm). \nMore details will be announced shortly but projects will take place outside and will most likely include raking\, sweeping\, gardening\, and more.  We will also be creating a new garden bed that will serve as a habitat for birds and butterflies. \nOne of the projects will include creation of a new garden bed aimed at attracting birds\, bees\, butterflies\, and other pollinators.  Check out the article about this new garden project in the March edition of the Weavers Way Shuttle here.

We have sold out of tickets each year as we raised money for projects to benefit our school\, socialized with other parents in the community\, and had a blast with all of our children! In order to make it run smoothly\, we need lots of helping hands. We have broken shifts into small chunks of time so that volunteers can also enjoy the dance. DESCRIPTION:C.W. Henry’s Upper School Committee meeting will take place on Monday\, 3/5\, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. We hope to have a strong turnout from upper school families.
