Congratulations to the winners of the very first PTA sponsored teacher mini grants. This pilot program awarded four grants of up to $250 each, with the hopes of running a larger scale grant program in the fall.

Mrs. Smith’s 7th and 8th grade math students will be able to use Scholastic magazines to explore real world connections to the math that they are learning.
Captain Fisher’s 2nd grade voyagers will be completing some new and exciting science hands on experiments by receieving an experiment of the week kit, focusing on the scientific process, life science earth science and space science.
5th to 8th grade music students, under the teaching of Mrs Trisdoefer will be able to get more in-depth instruction in their guitar lessons, by receiving Hal Leonard guitar method books.
Third graders in Mrs Pownall’s class will be able to form Literature Circles, by receiving class sets of high interest chapter books.
